SLO Creek Farms is having an apple baking contest. If you have a great idea or an amazing recipe made out of SLO Creek Farms apples then you would be the perfect person to enter this contest. The winners will have their recipe published in SLO Creek Farms Recipe Book and receive a seasons pass for free apple picking 2012.
We are looking for award winning recipes for an apple book to share with the SLO Community. Examples: Apple Butter Apple Sauce Apple Pie Apple Crisp Apple Bread Apple Cookies Apple Chips Apple Jelly Baked Apples Or anything creative you can think of. No baking experience necessary. Sign up here and come get 5 free pounds of apples in the garden u-pick area to start your cooking experimentation. Contest is held Sunday November 20, 2011 at 1:00pm in the garden u-pick area. Bring your friends and family to cheer you on. Their will be 4 judges, bring your finished apple product and recipe and let the contest begin! Happy Apple Picking Everybody!
