SLO Creek Farms is having a Apple Harvest Festival 2012
October 13, 2012 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Co Sponsored by the Food Bank/Glean SLO

We will be picking apples, making cider, having a pie baking and apple eating contest. We also will be giving tractor hayrides and have many other fun activities. Be sure to bring your empty half gallon container to take some "free" fresh pressed cider home with you!

We will be BBQing and having live music in the orchard for some family and friends of the community. This event is put on just by SLO Creek Farms Family, so if you would like to volunteer, message us, we would love to have your help.

Apple Pie Baking Contest:*Must pick apples from SLO Creek Farms Orchard the week before and make your own pie crust.
Bring your apple pie to the baking table by 1:00pm and leave your name, recipe, and phone number at the registration booth, so we can contact you if you are one of the 3 winners. Recipe will be posted on facebook, SLO Creek Farms website and published in our recipe book for all to see and try, with your name next to it.

Apple Pie Baking Contest will be held around 3:00pm.

*1st place winner will receive a free months pass to pick apples, a jug of cider, apple chips, and an apple pie cookie.

*2nd place winner will receive a 10 free pounds of apples, plus a jug of or cider, apple chips, and an apple pie cookie.

*3rd place winner will receive a jug of our cider, apple chips, and an apple pie cookie.
