Are you crafty and enjoy making holiday scarecrows like the one in this picture? SLO Creek Farms is having a build a scarecrow contest. All scarecrows will be showcased in the SLO Creek Farms Haunted Hayride Oct 26 through October 31, 2012.


You must bring your scarecrow creation with your name or company name on it starting now through deadline October 25, 2012 to the SLO Creek Farms Garden Area. We will be displaying your creative scarecrow around the farm and allow the community to vote for who has created the best scarecrow. 



*1st place winner will receive a free months pass to pick apples, a jug of cider, apple chips, and an apple pie cookie.
*2nd place winner will receive a 10 free pounds of apples, plus a jug of or cider, apple chips, and an apple pie cookie.
*3rd place winner will receive a jug of our cider, apple chips, and an apple pie cookie.

Winners will be announced on facebook Halloween Night!

There will be a photo shoot including the winning scarecrow Halloween Night!!

All you need to do to sign up is bring your scarecrow creation to the SLO Creek Farms Garden Area, with your name and phone number.

Remember to keep it kid and family friendly.
